The Central Province’s terrain is predominantly mountainous, characterized by deep valleys. Within its Central Highlands lie UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the Knuckles Mountain Range, Adam’s Peak, and Horton Plains. Pidurutalagala, standing at 2,524 meters (8,281 feet), is also situated in this province, serving as the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka.
